“It’s really hard to drive”. Charles Leclerc during the qualifying of the Italian Grand Prix had to deal with braking issues since the start of the session, forcing the Monegasque driver to brake harder at times: “It wasn’t pleasant.” – Charles Leclerc said, at the end of the qualifying session at Monza – “I will not go into detail on what I have heard. But there was some problem. We will look to fix it. It didn’t help me today, but that’s the way it is.” – the Monegasque driver explained, as reported by Sky Sport F1.

However, Charles Leclerc tries to look at the glass half full at the end of a difficult Friday ended with two cars in the fourth row: “To be seventh and eighth on a track that on paper is difficult for us, with the problems we had, it’s not terrible. We hope for a good sprint race tomorrow. Honestly the problem we had is something that cost us the possible third row. I certainly would have liked to fight for a place on the third row, but today it went like this. We will try to solve the problem for tomorrow” – he added.

McLaren dreams of big points in the duel with Scuderia Ferrari for third place in the Constructors’ standings. For this reason, the Maranello team’s main target will be to avoid too many risks in order not to compromise the weekend: “As always, we will not take too many risks. McLaren are strong this weekend. We have to bring home points and that’s what we will do” – Charles Leclerc concluded.
