
Charles Leclerc has pointed out that Ferrari’s 2025 Formula 1 car is lacking competitiveness in medium and high-speed corners, areas where the team needs to improve in order to challenge McLaren.
Heading into the 2025 Formula 1 championship, the expectation was that the Italian side would build on the momentum gained from a strong finish to the 2024 season, which saw them fight for the title in the final race. Many thought the team would once again be in the mix for the championship.

According to Charles Leclerc, the issues were widespread, affecting multiple aspects of the car. He acknowledged that Ferrari had a clear understanding of where they needed to focus their efforts to improve performance. While he felt the Maranello team had made significant progress in high-speed corners, low and medium-speed areas were still where more work was needed.
