Charles Leclerc welcomes baby Bianca after returning to Monaco
Following the Mexican Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc immediately flew back to Monaco to be with Alexandra for the birth of their first daughter.
The couple have welcomed Bianca into their family, with Alexandra sharing the news publicly on Instagram. The Ferrari driver can now enjoy the first days of fatherhood before returning to his racing commitments in Brazil.
The happy occasion means the Monegasque will head into the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend in particularly high spirits, with an important personal milestone to celebrate alongside his Formula 1 career.
Ferrari gives Charles Leclerc extra family time ahead of Brazilian GP
Ferrari has already made arrangements to allow Charles Leclerc to spend as much time as possible with his newborn daughter before travelling to Interlagos.
The Italian team has scheduled Dino Beganovic to take part in the opening free practice session (FP1) at the Brazilian Grand Prix, giving Leclerc additional time to enjoy the first days of Bianca’s life.
As a result, the Monegasque will begin his on-track preparations for the weekend during Free Practice 2 (FP2), rather than participating in Friday’s opening session.
The Brazilian Grand Prix will follow the traditional Formula 1 weekend format rather than the Sprint format, meaning the programme includes three free practice sessions before qualifying and the race.
Fans can follow the complete 2026 Brazilian Grand Prix schedule and session start times as Ferrari prepares for another weekend at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace.
For Charles Leclerc, however, this particular trip to Brazil will be especially memorable. The Ferrari driver returns to the paddock with a new role in his personal life, celebrating the arrival of baby Bianca as he prepares to get back behind the wheel from FP2 onwards.
