Formula 1 heads to Brazil after Andrea Kimi Antonelli’s historic title

The championship arrives in São Paulo following a landmark weekend for Andrea Kimi Antonelli. The Mercedes driver secured the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship in Mexico, becoming the youngest champion in the category’s history and ending Italy’s 73-year wait for another world title.

While the championship winner has been decided, the remaining rounds still carry considerable importance. The battle for second in the Drivers’ Championship continues, and the Constructors’ Championship remains another significant area of competition.

For Ferrari, the Brazilian Grand Prix provides another opportunity to pursue a strong result after the Mexican round. With championship positions still at stake, every remaining race can influence the final standings.
