Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton in Milan: how to meet the Ferrari drivers

Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, Ferrari 2026 F1

Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will meet Ferrari fans in central Milan before heading to Monza for the Italian Grand Prix, continuing a tradition that brings the Scuderia’s drivers face to face with the Tifosi ahead of one of the most important weekends of the season. The public appearance is planned for Piazza Duomo, near Palazzo Reale, giving supporters an opportunity to see both drivers before the action begins at the Temple of Speed.

The most eagerly anticipated weekend of the year is drawing closer and, as tradition dictates, the Ferrari drivers will first stop in Milan before taking to the track at Monza. It is therefore an appointment that every Ferrari supporter will want to mark on the calendar.

Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton Milan event: time and location

During the late afternoon of Wednesday 2 September, beginning at approximately 17:45, Piazza Duomo and Palazzo Reale are preparing to welcome a genuine sea of Ferrari red. These are the locations where supporters are expected to gather while waiting for Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, the central figures at the Milan event.

The appointment will take place in one of the most recognisable areas of the city, allowing Ferrari fans to assemble near Palazzo Reale before the focus shifts towards the Italian Grand Prix at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza.

Milan prepares for another major Ferrari gathering

Ferrari’s drivers also visited Palazzo Reale last year, attracting hundreds of supporters to the heart of Milan. A similar scene could unfold again, with Piazza Duomo ready to become, for at least a few hours, a small preview of the atmosphere that will fill the grandstands at Monza a few days later.

Demand surrounding the race weekend has already been intense, with Sunday at the Italian Grand Prix sold out. Ferrari flags, caps, red shirts and smartphones prepared to capture every moment should provide all the ingredients needed for another major celebration of the Prancing Horse.

Why the Milan meeting matters before the Italian GP

The Palazzo Reale appearance will be one of the key moments accompanying the countdown towards the Italian round of the Formula 1 calendar. Monza represents one of the most significant weekends of the entire season for Ferrari, both because of its sporting importance and the extraordinary support generated by the Tifosi.

The event will also carry particular significance for Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc. Meeting supporters in person gives both drivers direct contact with the Ferrari fanbase and allows them to experience the warmth of the home crowd even more intensely before arriving at the circuit.

How to watch the Ferrari event from home

The appointment is therefore set for Wednesday 2 September at 17:45 in Piazza Duomo, close to Palazzo Reale. Supporters who cannot attend in person will still be able to follow the event, as it is scheduled to be broadcast by Sky Sport F1 through its television channels.
