Next Tuesday, the Stade Louis II will host the annual World Stars Football Match, attracting renowned athletes from various sports, including Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos. Notably, the event will feature an exciting clash between the Ferrari men and Serbian professional tennis player Novak Djokovic, who is currently ranked world No. 1 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals.
In this year’s edition, the Star Team For The Children MC will face off against the All Star Drivers. The match is scheduled for Tuesday, May 23rd, at 19:00. Just like in the previous editions, it will bring together some of the biggest stars from the world of sports, pitting them against the fastest drivers in the world, just days before the 80th edition of the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix in Monte Carlo.
While players like Jérémy Menez and Jérôme Rothen, who previously played for Paris Saint-Germain, will feel right at home on the Louis II turf, Novak Djokovic and jet-ski World Champion Lisa Battaglia will find themselves in a more unfamiliar environment. They will be joined by other personalities such as Flavio Roma, Frédéric Déhu, Claude Puel, Sébastien Pérez, Greg Campi, and Valentin Liénard as they line up for the Star Team For The Children MC.
Once again, Charles Leclerc will showcase his football skills in the Fight AIDS Cup, an annual charitable football match. He will proudly represent the All Stars Driver team, alongside his close friend Pierre Gasly, who now races for Alpine. Recently, the duo attended the Monte-Carlo Masters together, strengthening their bond.

The event will also feature the presence of Sébastien Frey, Pecco Bagnaia, Stefano Domenicali, Ivan Capelli, and former Grand Prix winner Giancarlo Fisichella, who also raced for the Maranello team in the past.
“We want to thank the 285 members, the players, the celebrities, the public and the sponsors that have joined us over the years. Thanks to them and their help, we can continue our sporting and charitable events in order to raise funds and help disadvantaged children,” explained Mauro Serra, President of the Star Team for the Children MC and organiser of the World Stars Football Match.
Tickets for the event can be purchased on Saturday, May 20th (09:00-18:00), Sunday, May 21st (09:00-13:00), Monday, May 22nd (09:00-18:00), and Tuesday, May 23rd (09:00-18:00). With an affordable price of just €16 per ticket, children under the age of 14 can enter for free when accompanied by an adult.
Beyond being an enjoyable crossover event featuring renowned sports stars, this occasion sets the tone for the exciting week ahead, culminating in the highly anticipated Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday. All of this is done in support of a charitable cause.
