When he has a strategy, sometimes he exposes it, in part or entirely. For me, it was a great advantage to exchange impressions, and he has a good read.”

“I have two experiences with them. I know very well the seriousness with which they approach every project; I know what the German mentality implies, the advantages, and disadvantages,” Carlos Sainz senior confided. “If Audi wants him, it will be a matter of time,” he emphasized regarding his son’s possible signing.

“If they decide to participate, they have all my respect, and they are putting everything in place to make it a good project suitable for all drivers. Between Carlos and me, it is normal for us to exchange comments,” he concluded.
