Scuderia Ferrari Spanish driver Carlos Sainz has revealed to the media how he would celebrate a hypothetical victory in Las Vegas Grand Prix, which is scheduled to take place this weekend at the new 6.2km, 17-turn street circuit that winds its way past iconic locations like Caesars Palace, the Bellagio and the Venetian.
In the event of success, the Spanish driver’s plans are already set, and they also involve his Maranello teammate Charles Leclerc.
Carlos Sainz’s comments
Carlos spoke about the Las Vegas Grand Prix in a video posted on the official F1 social channels (which you can watch here). Here are his statements, that also address a possible victory: “I’ve never been to Las Vegas. I think that, in case of victory, besides celebrating, we should probably also go gambling,” he stated [seeking a nod of agreement from Charles Leclerc].
“We should try our luck more. If we manage to win the race, maybe the day can end even better. Otherwise, we can have a poker game,” he suggested to his Maranello teammate.
