The Monegasque has already stated that he expects a more competitive McLaren at Interlagos, perhaps even more than the Italian team and Carlos, interviewed at the press conference, confirmed what his teammate reported a few minutes earlier:

“Our simulations they say we will be a little behind this weekend as compared to our rivals. I guess Charles was referring to this. From what emerged from the data, we should have a gap of about half a tenth, not more. It might even turn out to be a tenth, but it should still be pretty narrow.
