Talking about who is the best Formula One driver of all time, very often risks becoming a rather delicate topic for fans, drivers or the media. Every self-respecting enthusiast has addressed the subject at least once in his life with his friends / relatives without ever being able to reach a conclusion or a common point.
Often it ends with giving up on the debate due to exhaustion. However, even if opinions can also be quite conflicting, in the end everyone will be able to Scuderia Ferrari Spanish driver Carlos Sainz, who was asked on the matter by Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica: “Michael Schumacher was able to make a difference and he is an important reference for me at Ferrari. Ayrton Senna had a charismatic and special personality, as do Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso. They have never had the opportunity to drive against each other … You will never know who is the best ever, the times are too different and distant. However, trying to make a comparison is what makes this sport fascinating” – Scuderia Ferrari Spanish driver Carlos Sainz explained, according to La Repubblica.
