Carlos Sainz confident Ferrari “can win again in 2022”. Carlos on Ferrari's prospects in 2022.

The new technical regulation that will finally be introduced starting from 2022 Formula one season will be able to reshuffle the cards on the table by establishing some new balances and hierarchies within the current Formula 1 grid.

It will therefore be a season that embodies the hopes of numerous teams, from Alpine to Ferrari itself, which for now are “blocked” by the partial freeze of development in 2021 after unsatisfactory results during the last Formula 1 championship.

The leaders of Scuderia Ferrari have repeatedly said that they look forward to 2022 with great confidence, and Spanish driver Carlos Sainz himself expects a lot from the Maranello team in regards to next season: “I think we will be able to bring Ferrari back to the top again”- said Carlos Sainz in a recent interview for Autoweek – “We need more than a year to become a dominant team, but winning can happen again, first of all because 2022 will be a special year for everyone in which we will start from scratch. I really believe in this team.” – the Spanish driver concluded.
