The 2021 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix was another solid weekend for Scuderia Ferrari Spanish driver Carlos Sainz as he crossed the line in fifth position at the Imola circuit last Sunday, but there were a few frustrations along the way.
Carlos Sainz would fail to make the top-10 shootout for pole, while in the race grew frustrated with his performance and in particular an error which saw him take a trip into the gravel.
But, describing to Sky F1 how happy he is right now with life in general at Scuderia Ferrari, he said a “solid nine” out of ten.
“I would say a good solid nine. I’m very happy with life at the moment, very happy where I am,” Carlos Sainz explained.
“I honestly feel very close to 100% a part of this team. I feel at home, I’m enjoying myself in Italy, so very close to a 10. I just miss winning. The winning feeling is a 10.” – the Scuderia Ferrari driver explained.
