After the season finale at Yas Marina, the Spaniard will bid farewell to the team in red and immediately move to the Williams hospitality. Speaking to journalists in Qatar ahead of the penultimate round of the 2024 Formula 1 campaign, Charles Leclerc reassured: “I’ve said it many times: on one hand, [when he joins Williams] I won’t miss him terribly because he’ll still be in the paddock, maybe 20 meters away.”
“Carlos isn’t even my girlfriend,” joked the Monegasque driver. “I like him a lot, but I’m sure we’ll still spend a lot of time together. We have a great relationship that will remain the same even after our time together at Ferrari. He’s a good person, and we get along very, very well. And yes, as I said before, this helps us work together very effectively.” – the Ferrari driver concluded.
