Carlo Vanzini urges Ferrari to renew contracts of Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc: “A winning line-up”. Carlo Vanzini urges Ferrari to renew contracts of Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc.

At the end of the 2023 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, which was held earlier today at the Marina Bay street circuit, during the post-race coverage on Sky Sport F1 Italy, commentator Carlo Vanzini shared his thoughts on the Ferrari driver pairing, discussing the progress made by Carlos Sainz and the current form of Charles Leclerc. Below are his words:

Carlos Vanzini talks about Ferrari drivers

Carlo Vanzini stated: “I have always seen Carlos as a very attentive and intelligent driver. What has surprised me the most in recent races is the quality he now has in the final lap. He practically built the pole position in the last two corners of yesterday’s day, and that’s the strength he was lacking.”

The Italian journalist and commentator then added: “We have often seen him ahead of Charles Leclerc throughout the weekend, and in the end, Charles was ahead of him. I believe, on the other hand, we need to emphasize that Ferrari, with the current state of Carlos Sainz and with Charles Leclerc, who is undeniably strong, has a pair of drivers with strong, promising, and winning potential, similar to McLaren with Norris and Piastri, and both need to be renewed.” – Carlo Vanzini concluded at the end of the Singapore Grand Prix at the Marina Bay street circuit.
