Adrian Newey – Ferrari: Deal Sealed in Monaco?
Fans and Formula 1 insiders are eagerly trying to understand the future of Adrian Newey, who announced his departure from Red Bull a few weeks ago and has not yet revealed his next destination, assuming his Formula 1 career continues.
In recent weeks, there has been much talk about Ferrari’s strong interest in Adrian Newey, with the English car designer potentially fulfilling his dream of joining the Maranello team and forming an exceptional dream team with Charles Leclerc and the arrival of Lewis Hamilton in 2025.
Despite a significant recent offer from Mercedes, which according to some rumors included team shares, the Adrian Newey – Ferrari union seems to be further confirmed by Marc Priestley, former McLaren mechanic and now BBC commentator, who commented: “There have been many rumors that Newey has signed with Ferrari.”
“There is absolutely nothing concrete or official, but more than one person told me they heard, with some authority, that the deal was potentially done.” – he revealed.

According to Marc Priestley, Lewis Hamilton and his entourage might also have played a crucial role in the negotiations: “Lewis and his management could have been instrumental in getting the deal done. They are very interested in bringing Adrian to the team when Lewis joins Ferrari next year. Again, there is nothing concrete yet, but it’s a big rumor circulating.” – the current BBC commentator concluded.
