The 2026 season at Scuderia Ferrari began with a significant announcement. Aurelia Nobels and the Ferrari Driver Academy have decided to go their separate ways.
On her social media, the American driver shared a heartfelt message, writing: “Today I close an important chapter and start an exciting new one after three unforgettable years.”
“I am immensely grateful for everything I have learned, not only as a driver but also as a person.”
“Moving to Italy alone at 15/16 years old, being the youngest in the program at such a young age, was a bold challenge. But it allowed me to turn a childhood dream into reality, and that experience shaped me in ways I will carry forever.”
“It was not an easy decision, but after much reflection, it felt like the right moment to embrace new opportunities ahead.”
“Thank you to the Ferrari Driver Academy for believing in me and for being such an important part of my journey.”
The young driver concluded her post by saying: “A new chapter now begins, and I am truly excited for what lies ahead. I can’t wait to share it with all of you.”
