Nicolas Hamilton dedicates a touching message to Oscar

In an emotional post shared on social media, Nicolas Hamilton expressed his deep affection and gratitude for his beloved companion, reflecting on the special bond that connected them throughout the years.

“Oscar, I’ve been so lucky to have had you in my life for 16 years. It’s been an amazing experience. The last two days have been heartbreaking because of your passing, but I’m truly grateful that I got to love you so much. Love is a privilege to experience.”

Nicolas also emphasized how Oscar had been a constant and essential presence during the most difficult times of his life and for his family as well.

“You were the rock that supported me and the family through the hardest moments, and you were also there for the happiest ones. Everyone who met you fell in love with you — you brought laughter, happiness, and joy to everyone around you. Thank you for being the best dog a guy could ever wish for.”

The bond between the Hamilton brothers is well known and deeply genuine, and Lewis — still mourning the loss of his own dog Roscoe — publicly expressed his closeness and support for his brother during this painful moment.

Both brothers have always demonstrated immense sensitivity and affection toward their animals, a side of their personalities that reflects who they are beyond racing and fame. Their love for their pets continues to stand as one of the most heartfelt and genuine expressions of their humanity, far away from the noise of the Formula 1 paddock and the spotlight of the media.
