Ferrari debuts new floor in Miami
Following the good performances in Melbourne (despite the poor overall result) and a podium finally scored in both the Sprint and the actual race at the Baku City Circuit, Scuderia Ferrari intends to continue its progress.
In Miami, the Maranello team will bring some interesting innovations to further improve its performance and results: a new floor will be introduced, as confirmed by the FIA.
The new floor
In the hopes of Ferrari, the new floor expected for the Miami race “is part of the standard development cycle, with the aim of reducing losses and improving overall aerodynamic performance and vehicle efficiency.”
The updates of other teams
Not only Scuderia Ferrari will bring innovations to Miami. Haas will also have a revised floor, while Alfa Romeo will introduce a new specific beam wing for the circuit. Aston Martin has worked on specifications that cool the lateral part of the chassis. At AlphaTauri, on the other hand, they focused on the front wing and sidepods.

Charles Leclerc’s hope
“The updates should push us in the right direction“: with these words, Charles Leclerc presented the Miami weekend yesterday at the Miami International Autodrome. The Monegasque driver practically drove the same SF-23 in the first four events, with the team waiting to bring updates to understand the full potential of the “base” car.
Charles Leclerc was one of the protagonists in the only edition held on this track: last year, in fact, he took pole position before surrendering in the race to Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.
