Formula One official tyre supplier Pirelli has revealed the teams’ individual tyre selections for next week’s German Grand Prix that will take place at Hockenheim.
F1’s exclusive tyre supplier has chosen the C2, C3 and C4 soft, medium and hard compounds for the eleventh round of the world championship where Renault will outweigh its rivals in terms of soft tyre allocation. The French outfit – along with Toro Rosso – has selected 10 sets each of the red-rimmed rubber for Daniel Ricciardo and Nico Hulkenberg while the latter has opted for just a single set of the yellow medium tyre.
Alfa Romeo Racing drivers Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi have made slightly different tyre choices for the 11th round of the 2019 Formula One season. Kimi Raikkonen will bring just one set of the C2 Hards and also three sets of the C3 Mediums for the German Grand Prix, while the Italian driver will use two sets of C3 Mediums and two sets of C2 Hards. Both Alfa Romeo drivers will be able to use nine sets of the C4 Red soft tyres during the race weekend.
