What makes Charles Leclerc so special?

Frederic Vasseur: “You mean apart from his outstanding talent? I have only seen two drivers go so mercilessly into judgment with themselves when a performance was not good enough in their opinion: Charles and Lewis Hamilton. Charle Leclerc and Lewis Hamilto were the only two drivers I have seen in my career who fell into self-criticism even after a victory. All the other drivers would have patted themselves on the back. But these two knew that they should have driven better. Charles learned and implemented a lot very quickly during our time together in 2018. With Ferrari and against drivers like Hamilton, a whole different pressure is there. But I was convinced: Charles was ready for this challenge!”
