A few weeks ago, we brought you the news of Robin Raikkonen’s first career podium, Kimi’s eldest son, in a go-kart race. On that occasion, the young driver secured third place, competing against boys three years older than him. Both his mother, Minttu, and his father, who has long been his mentor in these early steps in the world of motorsport, were present at the award ceremony.
Today, however, another great milestone has been reached by young Robin: his first victory. As his mother once again shows us on Instagram, the Raikkonen heir, on his kart, clinched the first position in the competition. The memory was then sealed with a photo in which the little one holds a trophy in his hands.
Who knows, this could be the beginning of a great career for Robin. He is still very young at the moment, but we believe that no one would be displeased to see the name Raikkonen on the Formula 1 grid in a few years. Moreover, we must remember that even his younger sister, Rianna, has already raced on some go-karts, although her current passion lies in artistic gymnastics, where she is also gathering several prizes. In a few months, the Raikkonen family will welcome their third child, and we can be sure that she too will have many talents.
