16 HYPERCARS REPRESENTING 7 AUTOMOBILE MANUFACTURERS
The Hypercar lineup will see 16 participants at the start, the highest number in the Le Mans top class since 2011.
Twelve out of the sixteen Hypercars will be eligible to score points in the WEC, including the current championship leaders, Toyota Gazoo Racing, and their pair of Toyota GR010 Hybrid Hypercars. The Japanese manufacturer has not been defeated this season but has faced strong competition for the podium from Ferrari AF Corse, Porsche Penske Motorsport, and Cadillac Racing.
