2027 Formula 2 and Formula 3 calendars revealed with new rounds 3.

FIA F1 flag logo

The FIA has officially confirmed the 2027 Formula 2 and Formula 3 calendars, outlining seasons featuring several important changes for both categories on the road to Formula 1. The two championships will continue to share many race weekends with Formula 1, but their schedules will become even more international next year. Formula 2 will contest 14 rounds, while Formula 3 will feature 10 events.

Formula 2: what changes on the 2027 calendar

The 2027 Formula 2 season will begin in Bahrain on the weekend of 12-14 March before moving immediately to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, one week later. After the Australian round in Melbourne from 2-4 April, the championship will travel to Montréal before heading to Monaco.

The European section of the season will then include Silverstone, Spielberg and Monza, followed by the new Madrid round and the trip to Baku. Another major addition will arrive in October, with Istanbul scheduled for 1-3 October.

Formula 2 will then head across the Atlantic for the category’s first visit to Mexico City, scheduled for 29-31 October. The season will conclude in the Middle East with rounds in Lusail and Abu Dhabi.

The other major addition to the Formula 3 schedule is Istanbul Park, which will host the season finale from 1-3 October.
