Mercedes continues to create a gap between themselves and Red Bull in the constructors’ standings with Valtteri Bottas third in the 2021 Italian Grand Prix at Monza ahead of Sergio Perez in fifth. McLaren is the biggest winner from the Italian Grand Prix, with an unexpected finish, the first ever for any team in the 2021 Formula 1 season, thanks to Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris who capitalized on the incident between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton.
Scuderia Ferrari knew it would be a difficult weekend but the Maranello team limited the damage with Charles Leclerc’s fourth place and Carlos Sainz’s sixth. Double point finish also for Alpine, while Aston Martin with Stroll and Williams with Russell also score points at Monza.
