2019 Russian Grand Prix: weather forecast and timetable. Weather forecast and Timetable for the race in Sochi .

The first Russian Grand Prix in Formula 1 history took place at the Sochi Autodrom circuit on the 12th of October 2014. Now we are talking about the 6th edition that it was moved from the spring to the autumn part of the season, like it was in 2014, 2015 and 2018.

2019 Russian Grand Prix weather forecast (Weather Sochi):

From the Formula 1 teams’ point of view, different weather conditions can result in very different races, and Formula 1 teams adapt their strategy accordingly, for example using different tyres in wet conditions, and taking account of cross winds which can cause stability problems at high speeds. It is always well worth checking the weather before any grand prix as it can often throw a curve ball into the mix, especially given the fact this time Sochi seems to be an unpredictable weekend. Conditions appear straightforward only for Friday ahead of the 2019 Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix weekend. The temperature for race day is expected to be around 20-21 degrees, while according to the latest forecast, there is no chance of rain for Friday during the free practice sessions. However, the qualifying session on Saturday may very well take place in wet conditions, while on Sunday partly cloudy conditions are likely, with morning showers, but according to the current weather forecast, the race in the afternoon should take place in dry conditions.
