Formula One is back in action at Hungarian Grand Prix venue Hungaroring today, for the final day of the second in-season test, with nine teams present.
Running is set to take place from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00, with several young drivers having a chance to prove their worth in Formula 1 machinery.
Nine of the 10 Formula 1 teams are present; Haas has opted to skip the two-day session, while Toro Rosso is set to run a second car in conjunction with Pirelli’s tyre testing programme. Scuderia Ferrari Finnish driver Kimi Raikkonen will get behind the wheel of the SF71H car for the final day, while yesterday’s pace-setter Antonio Giovinazzi, who took part in first practice at the Hungarian Grand Prix on Friday, is replacing Ericsson as Sauber’s driver.
