The Canadian GP is considered one of the top races in the Formula 1 calendar. The history and the competitive nature have been some of the factors behind the enormous interest in this event, which is also called as the Montreal Grand Prix. As ever, Montreal F1 2018 will take place at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. The race will take place on June 11. Traditionally, it has always been held after the Monaco Grand Prix and the 2018 edition is no different. The Grand Prix Montreal schedule sees the event held just a fortnight after the Monaco Grand Prix, one of the iconic events. Formula 1 fans, thus, are treated to a spectacular schedule of races. The European Grand Prix took place after this race in the 2016 season, but 2018 edition will be following a different route with fans being treated to the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. It is different only in terms of nomenclature, as it will take place at the same Baku City Circuit in Baku.
