The 2006 Chinese Grand Prix was the sixteenth race of the 2006 Formula One season and was held on 1 October 2006 at Shanghai International Circuit, Shanghai. The race was won by Scuderia Ferrari German driver Michael Schumacher and would turn out to be the 91st and last victory of his long and distinguished Formula One career.
