Charles Leclerc has always admitted that his biggest dream was racing for Scuderia Ferrari, a dream that became true starting with the 2019 Formula 1 season, his second year in F1, when the Maranello team, impressed by his performances for Alfa Romeo, gave him the opportunity of driving one of the cars built by the Italian side, after the Monegasque driver developed in the Ferrari Driver Academy under the watchful eye of Massimo Rivola.
Today, the 24-year-old driver has become the undisputed idol of Ferrari fans, who, alongside Charles Leclerc, hope to win a Drivers’ title for the first time since 2007, when Kimi Raikkonen became world champion, the last to do so behind the wheel of a Ferrari car. The Twitter account Scuderia Ferrari Brasil has published a photo of Michael Schumacher signing autographs during the 2006 French Grand Prix, judging by the suit worn by the Kaiser (aa race that Michael won ahead of Fernando Alonso and his Maranello teammate Felipe Massa).
According to this post, Charles Leclerc was also among the children who had the great opportunity of receiving an autograph from the seven-time Formula One world champion. Charles Leclerc was nine years old at the time and was taking part in the French Kart Cup, his second international event within his very young career.
