What’s the weather forecast for 2022 Australian GP? | F1 weather report. Get the forecast for the next race.

$20 million invested by Australian GP for "more exciting F1 races"

Let’s take a look at the weather forecast for the 2022 Australian Grand Prix (latest weather forecast for Melbourne):

One of the most important factors ahead of any Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend is of course represented by the weather conditions, which can have a great impact on the outcome. From the Formula 1 teams’ point of view, different weather conditions can result in very different races, and Formula 1 teams are always focused on the possible weather conditions in order to evaluate and choose their strategy options accordingly, for example using different tyres in wet conditions, and taking account of cross winds which can cause stability problems at high speeds.

As a result, we should always keep on eye out on the weather before any Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend given the fact that it can often throw a curve ball into the mix. However, this time Melbourne seems to be a straightforward weekend. Conditions appear perfect ahead of the 2022 Australian Grand Prix weekend: Sunny, breezy and pleasant conditions are expected from the entire race weekend, while the high temperatures (about 26° on Saturday and Sunday) and new Pirelli tyres will represent one of the main challenges for the Formula 1 teams in this third race of the 2022 championship at the Albert Park Circuit. On Sunday a shower is expected, but it will most likely reach the track only late in the afternoon, after the Australian Grand Prix.
