The 2021 Saudi Arabia Grand Prix will be the first Formula One World Championship race held in Saudi Arabia. The track is set to be the fastest street circuit on the Formula One calendar, as well as the second-longest Grand Prix in 2021. It is set to be a challenging event across 27 quick-fire turns at the Jeddah Circuit.
2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix weather forecast (Weather Info Jeddah):
From the Formula 1 teams’ point of view, different weather conditions can result in very different races, and Formula 1 teams adapt their strategy accordingly, for example using different tyres in wet conditions, and taking account of cross winds which can cause stability problems at high speeds. It is always well worth checking the weather before any grand prix as it can often throw a curve ball into the mix, yet this time Saudi Arabia seems to be a straightforward weekend. Conditions appear perfect ahead of the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix weekend: the free practice sessions, the qualifying session on Saturday and the race on Sunday will definitely take place in dry conditions if we look at the current predictions, while the temperatures should be constant throughout the weekend: about 28-30 degrees are expected during the day, with a bit lower temperatures for the key moments of the race weekend, which will make things interesting regarding tyre management at the Jeddah Circuit, especially taking in consideration the fact that teams have no previous data to rely on when evaluating this key aspect.
