The season Grand Prix of the 2021 Formula 1 championship is scheduled to take place at the Yas Marina Circuit, which hosted its first race in 2009 and has since gone on to host several title-deciding Grands Prix. Another race under the lights, this circuit features two hard-braking points that favours overtaking in an otherwise technical lap.

From the Formula 1 teams’ point of view, different weather conditions can result in very different races, and Formula 1 teams adapt their strategy accordingly, for example using different tyres in wet conditions, and taking account of cross winds which can cause stability problems at high speeds. It is always well worth checking the weather before any grand prix as it can often throw a curve ball into the mix, yet this time Abu Dhabi seems to be a straightforward weekend. Conditions appear perfect ahead of the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend: the free practice sessions, the qualifying session on Saturday and the race on Sunday should take place in dry conditions if we look at the current predictions, while the temperatures should be constant throughout the weekend: about 26-28 degrees are expected, which should make things interesting regarding tyre management at the Yas Marina Circuit:
