Formula 1 returns to the Nürburgring this year. From 9 to 11 October, the elite class of motorsport will be holding the “Formula 1 Aramco Eifel Grand Prix” in front of up to 20,000 spectators.
When Sebastian Vettel, Charles Leclerc and co. now put the pedal to the metal on the 5.148 kilometre Grand Prix circuit of the Nürburgring, fans will be able to cheer on their idols around the track after seven years of absence.

From the Formula 1 teams’ point of view, different weather conditions can result in very different races, and Formula 1 teams adapt their strategy accordingly, for example using different tyres in wet conditions, and taking account of cross winds which can cause stability problems at high speeds. It is always well worth checking the weather before any grand prix as it can often throw a curve ball into the mix, especially given the fact that Nürburgring has very often offered unpredictable weather conditions and this time seems to be no exception. Conditions appear uncertain ahead of the 2020 Formula 1 Eifel Grand Prix weekend. The temperature for race day is expected to be around 8-9 degrees, while according to the latest forecast, there is a chance of rain for both Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Particularly the race day could be affected by showers and the low temperature in the area, which could prove difficult to manage for the teams.
