The final part of the Albert Park Circuit’s extensive renovation has been revealed by the official F1 Australian Grand Prix account in a recent video.
The event is scheduled to return to the Formula 1 calendar this season after a two-year absence and the circuit was subject to many important changes. This has included an overhaul of the pit lane and the transformation of the chicane at Turns 9 and 10 into a high-speed straight.
Now, as the last part of the process, the entire surface of the circuit has been resurfaced, having remained largely untouched since the venue’s Formula 1 debut back in 1996.
