The 2000 San Marino Grand Prix was held at Imola on 9 April 2000. The 62-lap race was the third round of the 2000 Formula One season and was won by Michael Schumacher driving a Ferrari.
As raceday dawned, it seemed that the McLarens were faster than the Ferraris, but Michael Schumacher managed to stay close to Mika Häkkinen, before eventually taking advantage in the final pit-stops. Rubens Barrichello, in the other Ferrari car, finished fourth, almost one lap behind Michael.
