Scuderia Ferrari Finnish driver Kimi Raikkonen’s horrible crash in the third free practice session for the 2007 Italian Grand Prix at the Monza circuit as the Finn refuses to go to medical centre.
The Ferrari driver veered into a wall along the straight and his momentum propelled him a full 70 metres before he ploughed into a tyre barrier. Two marshals standing in a small gap in the wall narrowly avoided being hit by Raikkonen’s battered Ferrari and flying debris. The force of the impact was so great the car was buried under a mound of tyres
