In the world of Formula 1, being able to earn a recognizable nickname almost always means for a driver to have managed to make an indelible breakthrough in the hearts of the fans. Certainly this is the case of Kimi Raikkonen, the unique and inimitable ‘Iceman’ of Formula 1. The Finn earned this nickname during his career for the lack of expressiveness shown in front of the cameras, such as to make him always appear ‘cold’ and under control.
The Finn has always been much loved by the public – both for his splendid feats on the track and also for an unconventional communication style , based on often very short answers, which have made some of his interviews real moments of cult for fans.
Back home these days after the ‘hot’ trip to Bahrain for the three days of pre-season testing, Kimi showed the other ‘nature’ of his nickname. As a good Finn, in fact, the 2007 world champion has always been a great lover of snow. So, upon returning home after the weekend spent in the desert, the Alfa Romeo driver decided to take advantage of a heavy snowfall to take a dip in the pool. Everything was documented by the amused wife of the 41-year-old driver, Minttu. The ex-Ferrari driver’s companion then published the video of the scene on her Instagram profile. A funny curtain, waiting for the Circus to get serious again in about ten groups, again on the Sakhir circuit, for the first GP of the new season.
