Video: Ferrari raising another flag in Maranello after Charles Leclerc win in 2022 Austria GP. Making Maranello proud.

Four flags are now present above the entrance of the Ferrari Racing Department in Maranello after the Italian side secured its fourth victory in the 2022 Formula 1 season. After three months, Charles Leclerc was back on the top step of the podium in Austria, where the Prancing Horse had not won since 2003. The great results at Red Bull’s home races comes after Ferrari also won seven days ago at Silverstone, and has now reduced the gap to 7-4 when it comes to race wins this season.

The calendar still schedules two races (in France and Hungary) before the summer break, two opportunities to further narrow the gap in the rankings even if reliability remains a problem that in all likelihood will force Carlos Sainz to start from the back of the starting grid at the Paul Ricard circuit in two weeks. Below is a video of the moment Ferrari rasied the fourth flag, as evidence of a truly performing F1-75. In fact, Ferrari has already improved its balance sheet in 2019 when there were three overall victories. In 2018, however, the Scuderia from Maranello had six victories, five by Sebastian Vettel and one for Kimi Raikkonen. With still 11 races to go and with a car so fast, beating what the SF71H has achieved is a goal more than within reach for the men led by Mattia Binotto.
