Scuderia Ferrari Monegasque driver Charles Leclerc is enjoying the summer break from Formula 1 and is on holiday between Sardinia and Corsica with his old friends and his girlfriend Charlotte. However, as always, there is a pinch of adrenaline and speed. Just fun for Charles? Apparently not!
Charles Leclerc can’t really get on board a car and not get caught up in the thrill of competition. Not even when, as in this case, the car in question is a kart and the “competition” is simply an evening out with friends in Costa Smeralda and Porto Cervo.
At the Kartodromo Pista dei Campioni (Costa Smeralda) in Arzachena, Charles Leclerc was filmed while having fun with friends at the historic kart track in the north of Sardinia. Charles and his friends took to the track for a few laps on karts in a relaxed atmosphere of fun, very different from that of Formula 1 in which we are used to seeing him involved.
But was the Monegasque able to put aside the competitive streak to give some hope to friends who, of course, are certainly not professional drivers of his talent and experience? Obviously not! Ferrari’s number 16 left no way out for the other guys involved in the “competition”, basically competing on his own, very far from all the other karts on the track. Not even on vacation is there room for fun alone, when four wheels and an engine have to do with it.
