Charles Leclerc’s weekend in Monaco got off to a rocky start after an incident in Free Practice 1. The Ferrari driver sustained front wing damage following contact with Lance Stroll at the tight hairpin, cutting his session short for repairs.
Replays showed Stroll pulling left to allow one car through but then moving back onto the racing line just as Leclerc attempted to pass. With little time to react, Leclerc clipped the rear of the Aston Martin, damaging his front wing.
Charles Leclerc made it back to the pits, where Ferrari mechanics quickly replaced the wing. While he was able to rejoin the session, the early setback interrupted his rhythm at his home Grand Prix.
