One of the main objectives behind the new rules and regulations for the 2022 Formula One season was to improve overtaking by allowing the new challengers to be able to follow each other closely. The first pre-season testing session has seen drivers getting the opportunity to test this out and some of them have given their verdicts as quoted by Formula 1’s official website:
