Traditional vs. modern slot machines: Which are easier to beat?. Traditional vs. modern slot machines.

Casinos are truly emblematic of human grandeur and decadence, with many of the world’s most famous casinos being almost terrifyingly in terms of their extreme scope. Seriously, have you ever been to places like Las Vegas? Some of the casinos there have everything from zoos to waterparks in their complex, all the way through to absolutely huge sporting arenas. But when you consider how many people visit casinos in order to spend money there should be no surprise that they are this decadent. Sure they also pay out a lot of money in the form of prizes, but it pales in comparison to the money they take in revenue. Nowhere is this more prominent than in the slots halls, both in real life and virtually online. It seems as though everybody is trying to beat slot machines that you can play at Daisyslots these days, and with jackpots  regularly exceeding one million dollars there is no surprise there.

It is not easy to “beat” a slot machine, however, as it is just as much to do with plain luck as it is with skill and gambling prowess. There have been countless people too throughout history who have done away with these factors and opted to cheat their way to beating a slot machine, something that was a lot easier to do back in the day. Casino cheaters would regularly target slot machines back in the mid 20th Century, but the authorities quickly cottoned onto their methods, and altered the slot machines accordingly. Nowadays it is much harder to cheat on things like online slots, meaning that gamblers try and beat the slot games in different, more legitimate ways. So then, what is the answer to the question of which type of slot machine is easier to beat, traditional or modern? Let’s find out.

Traditional slot machine cheats

As many casino criminals will tell you, it was a lot easier to beat a traditional slot machine several decades ago, as these machines had a variety of weaknesses that casino cheats were all happy to exploit on a regular basis. One of the most famous methods used by these people is the coin on a string method, in which people would drill a hole through a coin and thread a piece of string through it. After doing so they could trick the machine into thinking that they were putting an infinite amount of coins in, when really all they were doing was putting the same coin on a string in over and over again. This worked a treat for a while, until slot machine developers changed the coin intake system, thus rendering it impossible.

Another traditional slot machine cheat that was used extensively by criminals back in the day involved using powerful electromagnets to influence the way the reels spun. Using these they could manually move the reels into winning combinations, ensuring that they were beating the slot machines each and every time. Again, the authorities quickly clamped down on this, and it didn’t take long for new slot machines with thicker shells to come into existence.

Traditional slot machine tips and tricks

Unfortunately for slot cheaters most of their methods were rendered useless by the 1970s and 1980s, however there are still a variety of legitimate ways in which people can try and beat traditional slot games. Something you will often see in Las Vegas casino halls, for instance, are people hanging around certain slot machines they feel are ready to pay out handsomely.

They will wait for somebody else to spend most of their money on it, and then hop in at the last minute to claim the money. A lot of gambling experts also simply advocate moving from slot machine to slot machine in quick succession, as they calculate it betters your odds.

Progressive jackpot traditional slots

It is hard to beat a progressive jackpot traditional slot game believe us – if it was easy we’d all be walking millionaires! However that being said, many slot gambling aficionados are convinced that there are certain factors you can use to estimate when exactly a progressive jackpot slot is going to pay out.

Now, we’re not going to sit here and say that this is definitely true, but it is worth considering if you want to beat a traditional slot machine.

Modern slot machines and cheating

Almost all modern slot machines actually reside online, and for this reason it is a whole lot harder to cheat on them, seeing as they are made completely of computer code. Every so often somebody ends up finding a worker on the inside to help them out, but by and large it is impossible to cheat on modern 2020 online slots.

Modern slot machines and RTP

Yes, it is impossible to cheat on them, but modern online slots do have a lot going for them in relation to trying to win money. One of the best things about online slots is that developers are obliged to disclose the RTP of their slots, a piece of information that can go a long way in helping you beat the slots.

RTP stands for Return To Player and is given as a percentage that indicates the average amount a gambler can expect back from his stake. Aim for anything above the 97% mark to give yourself the best chance of winning, and make sure you avoid anything below 95%.

Modern slot machines and bonus features

Another trait that makes it easier to beat a modern online slot machine is the fact that by and large they all have a lot more complex bonus features than traditional slot machines. And these bonus features also routinely offer some pretty huge pay outs, meaning that it can make modern slot machines a lot easier to “beat” if you play your cards right.

Modern slot machines and online casino deposit offers

Another thing about modern online slots is the fact that many online casino platforms offer things like cash back and free spins in exchange for depositing with them. Nice!
