Scuderia Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will start the Dutch Grand Prix at 15.00 tomorrow, alongside one another on the third row in fifth and sixth places respectively.
In his post-qualifying interview for Sky Sports, Charles Leclerc shared his thoughts on the outcome of the Maranello team’s starting positions for tomorrow’s race:
There are a lot of [racing] lines possible in Turn 3 and that should make it exciting, especially for Lap 1 because after that, it will be very difficult to follow and the opportunities will be limited..I am happy with my lap. The only thing I am not very happy is that maybe I asked a bit too much front wing for the last run and lost a little bit the rear and that costs us the fourth place at the end. But it’s life, it’s like this. Tomorrow we start P5 and everything is to play for. A good start, hopefully we can overtake Pierre.” – the Monegasque driver explained at the end of the qualifying session for the 2021 Dutch Grand Prix.
Charles Leclerc was also asked about his brother Arthur winning the Formula 3 race earlier today: “It is great! Obviously it is a lot more stressful for me to watch my little brother than when I am in control of my car. I am happy for him. He did a great start this morning and hopefully it will be a good main race tomorrow.” – Charles concluded.
