IT and tech company Lenovo has sealed a multi-year sponsorship deal with the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One motor-racing team, as the agreement kicks off this weekend with the opening grand prix of the 2018 season in Melbourne, Australia. Under the deal, Lenovo branding will appear on the side wing and front suspension of the Ferrari cars, as well as on team uniforms and the arms of drivers’ racing suits.
The Chinese multinational technology company with headquarters in Beijing, China and Morrisville and North Carolina will also provide some of its products, including ThinkPad laptops and Miix tablets, to be used by the team. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

The 2018 Formula One season gets underway with the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne this weekend.
