Summer break and vacations of F1 Drivers: From Leclerc and Sainz in Spain to Hamilton in Morocco. Here's how F1 drivers are spending their summer break as.

Some spend their holidays with family, some with friends, and others with their partners. Here’s how F1 drivers are spending their summer break as they wait to return to the track.

It’s vacation time for F1 drivers as well. The long summer break away from the track is an opportunity to unwind and relax with friends, family, or in the company of a loved one.

From Charles Leclerc to Carlos Sainz, who are spending their vacations in Spain, to Lewis Hamilton (super secretive) who chose Africa as his destination, let’s discover where the F1 drivers are spending their time off.

Let’s start with Charles Leclerc. The Ferrari #16 driver first spent time in Monaco, then in Spain, more specifically in Mallorca, with friends, his brothers, and his girlfriend Alexandra Saint Mleux.

Carlos Sainz is also in Mallorca with his family and his girlfriend, Scottish model Rebecca Donaldson. There are few photos available, but we know that the Spanish driver is spending his vacation on the family yacht.

Lewis Hamilton, on the other hand, is touring Africa. After his visit to the Paris Olympics, where he supported his athlete friend Miles Chamley-Watson, the seven-time Mercedes world champion flew to Senegal and then to Morocco.

Mallorca is not the only summer destination for the two Ferrari drivers: George Russell also chose the sea to relax, along with his partner Carmen Montero Mundt. He then spent some family vacation time.

Max Verstappen is “recharging” (as he wrote on Instagram) in preparation for his home Grand Prix in the Netherlands. The Red Bull world champion spent his holidays with family and his girlfriend Kelly Piquet.

Lando Norris is also taking a break, spotted in the company of some friends. The McLaren driver also had a lovely experience with Battersea, the animal rescue service for dogs and cats.

Pierre Gasly is one of the drivers who uses social media the most. He spent his beach vacation with his girlfriend, Portuguese model Francisca Cerqueira Gomes, in Porto Vecchio.

The other Alpine driver (but next year he’ll be with Haas), Esteban Ocon, is spending his vacation in Formentera with his girlfriend, Flavy Barla.

Fernando Alonso kept racing even during his vacation. The Aston Martin driver posted a video of himself driving on a karting track.

Nico Hulkenberg chose his beloved Germany, where he is spending his summer holidays with his family and his faithful dog Zeus.

Guanyu Zhou also preferred to return home for the summer: the Sauber driver is in Shanghai, captured in a photo with his cat Sweetcorn.

Finally, Valtteri Bottas is true to form: here he is cycling, his other passion outside of Formula 1, in his homeland of Finland.
