After yesterday’s cancellation due to rain, teams returned to the track at Interlagos. Qualifying determined the lineup for the start of the Grand Prix: here is the starting grid for the 2024 Brazilian GP.
VERSTAPPEN PENALTY – The Dutch driver has installed his sixth ICE on his Red Bull, resulting in a 5-place grid penalty.
SEVERAL DRIVERS IN DOUBT – Following qualifying incidents, the race participation of Sainz, Stroll, Alonso, Albon, and Colapinto is uncertain. Mechanics will need time to repair the cars.
SAINZ UPDATE – The Ferrari driver will start from the pit lane with a new gearbox and power unit.
ALBON UPDATE – The Williams driver will not take part in the race. The damage cannot be repaired in time.
