Scuderia Ferrari German driver Sebastian Vettel about how his legacy at the Maranello team will be remembered, as he prepares for the final two races with Ferrari:
“You put the people first. That’s why for me it‘s not important how I will be remembered, I think the key people that I have lead in my head or heart, they know, so I don’t think there is anything to proof there. I have no regrets. It was a privilege to drive for this team, to work with these people. When I leave Ferrari, I will be at a higher level compared to when I joined. I will miss many people, but I will not lose them. We will keep in touch.” – he explained.
“I had a great time with the team. Together with all the people. Especially the friendships that I made, the people that I got to know, even though I am leaving, this is something that I get to keep, that’s the most important thing. I want to do well in these last two races, for myself but also for all the guys at Ferrari that always put so much passion into it and deserve the best possible results. That goes for the mechanics, the engineers and also all the people back in Maranello.” – Scuderia Ferrari German driver Sebastian Vettel concluded.
