First practice session (Sebastian Vettel had to abandon one of his early runs after spinning):
From Sebastian Vettel: “OK I spun and continued at 14. Car seems OK. Tyres are flat-spotted. I think I have to box.”
From Sebastian Vettel: “Can you check turn three? I had a rear under-rotation, it felt like I was off the brakes.”
To Sebastian Vettel: “Copy.
Second practice session:
To Sebastian Vettel: “Turn six, don’t brake too late, concentrate on the line, initial entry.”
Qualifying session:
From Sebastian Vettel: “What the hell is Perez doing? It’s the second time now. He needs to watch his mirrors. Austria was the same thing.”
From Sebastian Vettel: “What was that on the out lap? That was a [censored by FOM] spot to be. Absolutely [censored by FOM] spot, the opening of the lap was nowhere. I was way too close to the cars ahead.”
Race:
FL – To Sebastian Vettel: “OK Sebastian, we currently have a yellow flag, Palmer has stopped on track. I’ll let you know what’s happening.”
Lap 14 – To Sebastian Vettel: “We get him (Max Verstappen) next lap.”
Lap 18 – From Sebastian Vettel: “That was another move on the braking.”
Lap 18 – To Sebastian Vettel: “Copy that, understood.”
Lap 45 – From Sebastian Vettel: “I have no more fronts. They’ve been blistering for 20 laps. I have zero front.”
Lap 51 – To Sebastian Vettel: “Puncture, puncture.”
VL – From Sebastian Vettel: “Well there was no sign of that happening. Sorry. I had vibrations but I had it for like 20 laps. It didn’t get massively worse. The tyres didn’t look good but they never look good.”
VL – To Sebastian Vettel: “From our side it was instantaneous.”
