With just two days to go until the launch of the 2019 Ferrari Formula 1 car, there have been rumors in the Italian media that the new car will be called the SF-90 and will have a completely new shade of red. Indirect confirmation that the name most likely will be SF-90 comes from a recent post which Scuderia Ferrari shared on social media earlier today:
16.11.1929
The day we burst into life as an #F1 team.

The ’90’ will therefore be a reference to the 90-year anniversary of the founding of Scuderia Ferrari by Enzo Ferrari. Regarding the new livery, the shade of red could change because of the new pairing with Mission Winnow, an innovative branding operation created by Ferrari’s tobacco sponsor. Some fans think the new Ferrari livery could be similar to the one launched by Ducati’s similarly Mission Winnow-sponsored MotoGP team.
