As part of this year’s RTL donation marathon, the family of Formula 1 driver Mick Schumacher increased the amount collected by Deutsche Vermögensberatung (DVAG) from 500,000 euros to one million €, setting a new record.
The money goes to the Fluthilfe (flood catastrophe in Germany) and support projects for people in need or socially disadvantaged children / young people.
“We haven’t forgotten the people in the flood areas. Out of solidarity to the Pohl family, my family was also involved in the action of Deutsche Vermögensberatung RTL donation marathon. We hope that so many people affected by this can be helped.” – Mick Schumacher said, as reported by the German edia.

22-year-old Mick Schumacher finished the Qatar Grand Prix in 16th place last weekend, as the Ferrari Driver Academy member once again kept his team-mate Nikita Mazepin at a clear distance in 18th place. George Russell in the Williams also ended up behind the German at the Losail International Circuit.
